Project overview
With our headquarters in Chicago, STS was privileged to provide geotechnical engineering for the Sears Tower. STS performed subsurface exploration and provided foundation design recommendations for caissons to bedrock for the 110-story high-rise. The Sears Tower is the fourth tallest building in the world and still the tallest in the United States.
