Project overview
Upon completion in 2008, River House will be the tallest all-residential building in Michigan and the tallest building in Grand Rapids at 34 floors. These downtown luxury condos offer residents a spectacular view of the Grand River and amenities such as high-speed elevators, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, two parking spaces, and a pool, hot tub and gym. Project challenges included constructing the building 16 feet below street level and along a 256-foot commercial office building. During the pre-construction phase, STS provided geotechnical engineering and foundation recommendations. STS will also inspect the caissons during installation.
