Project overview

The City of Chicago (City) is undertaking a proposed $6.6 billion O’Hare Modernization Program (OMP), which will reconfigure the airfield, terminals and facilities at O’Hare International Airport. The City named STS the independent materials testing firm to perform the Quality Assurance and Acceptance Testing of Construction Materials.

To deliver, STS will plan, mobilize and seek accreditation for an on-site materials testing laboratory. This laboratory will be capable of providing all the necessary testing for FAA acceptance and compliance with project-specific technical specifications.

STS has been providing services at O’Hare since 1959.
